What is the ideal way to get your newborn sleep in her crib?
I try to put her down when she is awake but sleepy, and i try when she is sleeping, but five minutes later she starts crying until i pick her up. She really seems to want to sleep on or next to me, but i am so afraid i might roll over on her or push her off the bed. Please help!!

Getting infant to sleep in his crib ?
My 4 month old baby’s pediatrician recommended using a transitional object to get the baby to sleep in his crib. This is an object he’ll associate with sleep, which he’ll use to sooth himself back to sleep when he wakes up throughout the night.
Examples she gave are: a sound machine that the baby controls, a blanket, a stuffed animal, or a toy that lights up when touched.

when my daughter was born she would not sleep in a crib so the nurse put her into bed with me since then she will not sleep unless she is in bed with me but i am too nervous with her. my mom recommended to put her on her stomach but the nurse advised against it! can anyone give me any tips to get her to sleep in her crib?
