HELP! MY INFANT WONT SLEEP??
May 14th
Question by LM222:
Help! My infant wont sleep??
My daughter is 7 weeks old and she sleeps maybe 8-9 hours per day/night including naps. She wont sleep till 11pm and wakes to eat every 3-4 hours and is wide awake at 6am. Naps are 10-15 mins long a few times throughout the day. She is constantly yawning and has huge bags under her eyes. Sometimes she falls asleep in my arms when I am rocking her and breastfeeding but the second I put her down the crib she screams. Tonight she cried for hours!! She cried in the crib, the swing, in my arms, everywhere. She would fall asleep and then jerk herself back awake after a few mins. I felt like something else was wrong with her. I tried everything I could think of. I feel like a terrible mother. I just dont know what to do.

ANYONE USED A SILKSAC, A GROBAG SIMILAR BABY SLEEPING BAGS IN US?
Apr 11th
Question by bft72:
Anyone used a Silksac, a Grobag similar baby sleeping bags in US?
I have read a lot about Grobag, and really like its benefits. And when I searched in US, I found something similar, called silksac. http://www.silksation.com/products_babysleepingbag.html
Seems like the difference is it has silk filling while grobag has polyester filling. Anyone has experience with this product? Love to hear more about it before buying.

RISKS OF GIVING AN INFANT HYDROCODONE?
Feb 4th
Question by :
Risks of giving an infant hydrocodone?
My son, 13 months, has severe abdominal inflammation (colitis) along with lots of pain. He hasn’t been sleeping at night and my family is just falling apart from lack of sleep. Even our poor four year old has bags under his eyes! The physician recommended we give him Tylenol 3/hydrocodone for the really bad nights, but I am worried that he’ll become an addict at 13 months. What are the real risks at this age? What would you do for your child?

DRESSING INFANT FOR COLD WEATHER?
Dec 16th
Question by lovebeingamom:
Dressing infant for cold weather?
Last year was simple we had one of those sleeping bag like things for our carseat and our son did not need a jacket. He is ten months old now and I am looking for a WARM jacket. He can almost walk so I do not want a full body suit or anything. What are some good brands for infant winter wear? Also I have heard you shouldn’t put them in their automobile seat with a jacket on but this doesn’t seem possible to me when getting in and out of the automobile a lot.
I have the bundle me already- that is what we used last winter. It was AWESOME but now he is in his big boy automobile seat and needs a jacket for when we take him in and out of places. I am very sad we can’t use it anymore, believe me!

NURSERY BEDDING? DID ANYONE NOT BUY A SET?
Nov 29th
Question by Rumbly:
Nursery Bedding? Did anyone not buy a set?
Just wondering, if anyone did not bother getting a nursery bedding set?
I’ve read so much info that the bumpers are bad and can cause sids?
I am getting a homemade crib quilt and then I figured I would just buy the fitted sheet separate. Is there any other pieces I am missing? I know newborns do not even sleep under the covers and like to be swaddled. Also, I plan to use grobags (sleeping bags) for the baby (if they like them!)
Just curious what your thoughts are?
