Baby will stink! Use baby oil at the appropriate age, let babies tender skin breath before clogging it up with oils.

WOULD BECOME A INFANT MASSAGE TEACHER BE A GOOD JOB TO START? Wed, 10 Nov 2010 18:47:39 +0000 admin Question by new_momsd:
would become a infant massage instructor be a good job to start?

I want to become certified infant massage teacher. I would instructor parents how to massage their baby. But before i go spend a lot of money on becoming certified i want to get some advice if it is really worth it.

Answer by massagegeek
It is only worth it if you think it is. No one can really tell you if it is worth it. You have to be a full massage therapist first off in most says to do massage of any kind. You will have to be able to promote yourself to build your practice. Just like anything else it will take hard work to make it work and if it doesn’t work you have not wasted anything but hopefully have learned a ton – that is what life is really about.

BABY MASSAGE? Fri, 29 Oct 2010 07:53:20 +0000 admin Question by mysticalhummingbirds:
baby Massage?

Every night before bedtime I give my baby a tiny mesage with a johnson johsnson product Either aveeno with calming laveder or the betime touch massage gel. Since I have started this routine he sleeps 8 hours or more during the night if I do not do it he sleeps only 5 or less
Now I am wondering if anyone knows if the Johnson & johnson Products contain the BPA that is all the hipe in the news lately or the phthalates?

Answer by deathbybluescreen
Sorry, do not know your specific answer… but…

Be careful not to create a bad habit there. I love massaging my baby. He adores it. But, I do not want to do it *every* night – or else he doesn’t sleep.

BABY MASSAGE? Fri, 20 Aug 2010 08:35:16 +0000 admin Question by Jessica M:
Baby Massage?

I have heard that baby massage is really good for calming a baby. Does anyone have any experience? Do I need to join a class or could I do it myself? What sort of oil/ cream should I use?

Answer by nurseTINA
you can use baby lotion, especially one with lavendar- thats supposed to be really calming. You just rub it on with the baby on their back facing you, and lightly massage them. It is good for them.
