They have special q-tips that are special for babies ears. I have used those with all three of my babies and my pediatrician approves of them. He is the one who actually told me about them. They are made so that towards the end of the tip it’s thicker so you do not put it in too far. Then at all there well child checks the physician checks their ears and cleans them with a special tool if they need it.

I was told to just take a wash cloth and wipe around the outer part of the opening.. never go inside the ear.. that pushes the wax further in.

I just wipe them clean with the washcloth when I bath her. Other than that…just “kinda when needed”.

With a Q-tip slowly and carefully. If you go to babies r us the have special baby q-tips.

you dont! newborns dont get earwax. you will damgage the eardrum trying to clean it
