Question by KK:
Baby vomiting 2-3 hours after eating each day- why?

Hey everyone,

My tiny baby cousin is going to be 5 months old in two weeks. After 2-3 hours of eating milk, she vomits about half of what she ate (usually its a 125ml bottle of milk, so about 60ml of milk are vomited). This is happening after each meal of the day and it’s been on for 10 days. Any ideas of what this would be?

Thank you! If this helps, she is a girl.

They have an appointment scheduled soon…Romanian physicians SUCK!

Answer by starlightstrm
She might have acid reflux which doesnt always show at birth so she might have just grown to get.I would have your relative take her to the peditrician ASAP to get her checled for relux and have your relative explain it just like you have.

VOMITING BABY? Wed, 10 Nov 2010 18:49:14 +0000 admin Question by Carson’s Mom:
Vomiting Baby?

My son is 4 months old and has been diagnosed with relux since he was 3 weeks old. The physician put him relux medicine and similac alimentum (a hypoallergenic formula). I have recently started taking him to the chiropractor for the relux to stop the spitting up. He is still vomiting each bottle and when he vomits to go down his clothes, down my clothes, and then hit the fall in a puddle the size of a 6 inche circle. Nothing is helping any suggestions.
he did have an ultrasound on for his reflux and they didnt find anything

I HAD A DREAM OF A VOMITING BABY… HELP? Fri, 29 Oct 2010 07:54:41 +0000 admin Question by Elena:
I had a dream of a vomiting baby… Help?

Hey all,

I had this dream some 2 weeks ago, maybe. I cannot remember everything, but.. here goes:

I was sitting somewhere, I think it was in a room, when someone suddenly handed me this baby, or suddenly I was babysitting a baby. After a short while, the baby sort of “froze”, or had some sort of (panic?) attack where its shoulders became stiff — and then the baby (he or she, I do not remember, but it’s possible it could be a boy) started crying really loud!!

I tried to make the baby stop crying by comforting it, but nothing I did would work! I found myself nearly screaming for help (note: almost), and when I repeated myself for like three or four times, this babysitter came in (note: she was not stressed, she came in walking).

As I handed her the baby, she stated something like “Okay, I will take care of it..” Then she held the baby and did something to it similar to what chiropractors do–to make it “loosen”. And then the baby had stopped crying and instead started vomiting (while she was holding it). I remember sitting on the bench/sofa-thing, watching all this feeling quite confused, and even nauseous.

And that is all I can remember.

If anyone could help me interpret this, I would really appreciate it! Thanks in advance…

Well… You could be really worried about something like being pregnant and not being a good mom? Or maby you were watching something weird before bed?
Idk if you have had sex and worried you might be pregnant.
Those aare the only things I can think of..

TEN MONTHS OLD BABY VOMITING AND HAVING DIARRHEA? Tue, 26 Oct 2010 00:38:59 +0000 admin Question by mbali k:
ten months old baby vomiting and having diarrhea?

my ten months old baby is vomiting and having diarrhea.i took him to see a physician and he stated he had a throat infection and he gave him antibiotics but they seems not to be working at so worried because he wants to eat so much but the food just cant stay in stomach. i do not even know what to feed him anymore.because if i give him his milk and food it all comes back.he is no formula.and the other thing he is not even dehydrated. what is wrong with my baby?what is making him to throw up?

Answer by Jessa
Are you still working on food? I’d just see if you can get him to keep liquids down…water, juice, pedialyte, etc. Keep a close eye on dehydration and electrolytes. Little bodies are VERY susceptible to dehydration and it can be life-threatening. Vomiting and diarrhea at the same time are not good for babies. If he doesn’t eat soon get him to the hospital and than can stick a tube in him.

Don’t mean to be scary, just watch him closely.

CAN TEETHING IN BABIES CAUSE VOMITING? Fri, 20 Aug 2010 08:38:30 +0000 admin Question by adams girl:
Can teething in babies cause vomiting?

My son is nearly 11 m onths old, he has already cut most of his front teeth, now it seems his more massive back ones are coming through, a couple of nights he has woken up crying and just been sick, i was wondering if this was a teething symptom, aart from that he is fine he is very active and a happy tiny boy, any ideas what could be wrong?, a desparate and worried mum xxx
im also 27 weeks pregnant

Answer by iheartaaron4life

I take automobile of a 7month old during the day & when he started teething he obviously cried a lot & was really fussy, but he also nearly always had a fever & did spit up a lot! We gave him some baby tylenol for his fever & some baby orajel for his gums & this made him sleep much easier & wake up less often.
Anytime he was taken to his doctor, he was turned out fine & the physician kept saying it was all because of the teething.

Hope this helps any, good luck!
