BABY VOMITS BABY FOOD WITH CHUNKS IN IT BUT NOT REAL FOOD?
Feb 4th
Question by Stigmata M:
Baby vomits baby food with chunks in it but not real food?
My 16 month old has no trouble eating pureed baby food and normal adult food, but when I feed her baby food with the chunks in it she gags and sometimes vomits profusely from it.
Is this normal?
I do not know what would cause this as she has no trouble eating normal food like bits of chicken and vegetables.
It is only when she eats the baby food with bits in it, like pasta.
(She likes pasta and has no trouble eating it when it is normal like when I cook spaghetti for me and my husband.)

WHY IS MY BABY VOMITING?
Sep 24th
Question by J D:
Why is my baby vomiting?
Almost every night this week, my four month old has vomited right after the last nursing session, right before bed. He feeds, I burp him and rock him a little, keep him upright for a good while, and then as soon as his little head hits the crib sheet, his eyes open and he begins to spit up. And it’s not just a little tiny bit of spit up, it’s a decent amount. He’s a big baby, he’s not losing weight, and he rarely cries after it happens. In fact, he easily puts himself to sleep right after. But why is this happening? It’s such a strange pattern, as he’s not vomiting after any other feed during the day. Could it be something I am eating? Is he overeating and as a result, vomiting? Help!
Thanks to those of you who so kindly pointed out that I should take him to a doc to find out. I appreciate the camaraderie and support of you wise moms! Actually, I have spoken to the doc in the past when he’s vomited and he has said not to worry. As long as he’s gaining weight and happy, he’s fine. I just hoped to find some mothers who could offer support/advice, not sarcasm. Thanks anyway!
Well, that last rant was just for those who so smugly recommended I take him to the ped, not for those who nicely recommended it. I need to go to bed. I am too sensitive when I am tired.

WHY DOES MY BABY KEEP VOMITING?
Jul 19th
Question by mommy of 2:
Why does my baby keep vomiting?
My baby is 5wks today. She started to vomit since she was 3wks. At the beginning it would only be once in a while, but for the past 2wks it has been happening every single day. It only happens once, sometimes while i’m still breastfeeding her other times right after she’s done feeding. It happend even though I burp her. It is not just a little, she vomits everything to the last drop she ate. Then she starts cring and seems desperatly hungry, I feed her all over again and the milk stays, she has no vomited twice in one day. But I am really worried I do not think it is normal for my baby to be vomiting every single day. I took her to her doc. 2 times already and she keeps telling me it’s normal for babies to vomit, but I do not concur with her. when my baby vomits the vomit does not even get all over her clothing, it travels one or two feet away. It’s sacary! Has anyones baby had this problem. Or is it normal and I am worring too much?

Question by bryn:
Can vomiting hurt the baby in early pregnancy?
I know that kinda sounds dumb given that some people have serious morning sickness, but I am wondering how “violent” throwing up does not hurt that little one inside.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH MY VOMITING BABY?
Jan 5th
Question by passionate4knowledge:
What is wrong with my vomiting baby?
So my son is now 13 months old. He has had reflux issues in the past, and has thrown up constantly since he was born. But now it has gotten to a new level. My poor child has no fever, is not sickly in anyway. He is eating perfectly and is as healthy as a horse. But anytime he cries, coughs or even laughs he throws up. And I mean big time. Afterwords he is fine, but its starting to make me buy a lot of detergent and soap because he throws up every day. Its not everytime he eats, and there seems to be no certain food that sets it off. PLEASE HELP!!!

BABY VOMITING 2-3 HOURS AFTER EATING EVERY DAY- WHY?
Nov 10th
Question by KK:
Baby vomiting 2-3 hours after eating every day- why?
Hey everyone,
My little baby cousin is going to be 5 months old in two weeks. After 2-3 hours of eating milk, she vomits about half of what she ate (usually its a 125ml bottle of milk, so about 60ml of milk are vomited). This is happening after every meal of the day and it’s been on for 10 days. Any ideas of what this would be?
Thank you! If this helps, she is a girl.
OK,
They have an appointment scheduled soon…Romanian physicians SUCK!
