Hiccups in Babies
WHAT DO BABY HICCUPS FEEL LIKE WHEN YOU ARE PREGNANT?
May 7th
Question by Huliganjetta:
What do baby hiccups feel like when you are pregnant?
I was sitting here and all of a sudden I started to feel something that resembled my heartbeat, in my stomach. It was not my pulse though, because I compared the two and they were off from one another. It just felt like a little tap ever second or so. Could that have been the baby having hiccups?
I’m 25 weeks pregnant, is it normal to feel the baby hiccup around this time in my pregnancy?

Oct 29th
Question by Brooke:
When do infant hiccups become a cause for concern?
Most people say that hiccups in babies are absolutely normal. My question is when do hiccups become a cause for concern? I have read that excessive hiccups in infants can be a sign of a serious medical issue. I am freaking out because my son gets them all the time! Last night, for example, he had them 5 times in a 3 or 4 hour period. That seems excessive to me. Comments?
