WHY DO BABIES GET FLU-LIKE SYMPTOMS WHEN THEY ARE TEETHING?
Dec 6th
Question by jennsuzy:
Why do babies get flu-like symptoms when they are teething?
My son has been teething for the majority of the past 6 weeks, and I was wondering why it is that they get fevers and runny noses, among other miserable symptoms, when they are teething. My son had a fever on and off for about a week with his last set of teeth. Now he’s got a terrible runny nose the past 3 days waiting for his 6th tooth to come through.
But he got his first 2 teeth at three months and they did not seem to bother him at all. I did not even know he was teething until the teeth were already through. No fevers, no crankiness. I wonder why those did not bother him, but now at 7-8 months they do bother him so much.

INFANTS AND THE FLU SHOT? WHAT HAPPENS IF AN INFANT GETS TO MANY DOSES OF THE FLU SHOT?
Nov 25th
Question by laxson27:
Infants and the flu shot? What happens if an infant gets to many doses of the flu shot?
My 9 month old daughter went to the physician and they gave her half of the flu shot. But I remember the last time we were there they gave her that other half. So as far as I know she got one and a half. What could occur because of this, and what do I need to know?
Thanks,
Magon

DOES NONE ELSE FEEL GUILTY ABOUT GETTING ALL SHOTS FOR THEIR BABIES AT ONCE? ALSO FLU SHOT FOR BABIES?
Nov 4th
Question by J:
Does none else feel guilty about getting all shots for their babies at once? Also Flu Shot for babies?
My baby is 5 months old. I am getting ready for her 6month check up/vaccines. I wish that I had never aloud the physician to give her so many at one time in the past. Poor baby. I wish I had separated them. Also I have reservations about the flu shot. How do you all feel? I have read that it may contain mercury?

ARE YOUR BABIES GETTING FLU SHOTS?
Oct 29th
Question by Miley’s mama<3:
Are your babies getting flu shots?
A friend of mine’s daughter had her 6 month shots today, and they also gave her the flu shot. My husband and I are going to get our flu shots pretty soon, but I am sure if my daughter needs one too. She is 10 months now so last year she was too little, but now apparently she is old enough if they give them at 6 months but I am not sure if she should or not.
Will they give them to babies at the local pharmacy where they do the others, or would I need to make her an appt to get it done at the physicians office?
How many of you are getting your little ones flu shots this year?

IS IT SAFE TO USE THE AIR CONDITIONER WHEN AN INFANT HAS THE FLU?
Oct 24th
Question by jenneth d:
Is it safe to use the air conditioner when an infant has the flu?
My relatives believe that turning off the aircon will let the infant sweat and the flu gets out faster. But in hospitals, air conditioners are always on.

TWO FLU SHOTS FOR BABIES GETTING THEM FOR THE FIRST TIME?
Sep 10th
Question by ChoobiesMom:
Two flu shots for babies getting them for the first time?
I heard that for babies getting the flu shot for the first time, they have to get two, one month apart.
However, my baby did not get her second shot last year, when she got the flu shot for the first time. Now that she’s 16 months and got her flu shot again, should I take her back after a month and get the second shot, or does it not matter anymore?
