Should my baby get the flu shot?
His appointment is next week and he’s 7 months. I am afraid that he will get a fever from the shot but then again I do not want him to get sick from the flu. Now, I am pretty good at keeping him away from sick people. I am VERY strict when it comes to my baby’s health. I am 20 and have not receive the flu shot, ever. But what should I do? I want him to get the flu shot but I am not 100%. Thanks for the responses!
His pediatrician said it’s necessary and she gave me a whole month to think about it.

Normally, I would not get vaccinated for the flu, but I just got over something like the flu and it was horrible and DO NOT want my 9 month old to even have a chance at getting the flu, but I am nervous of how harmful the vaccine can be.

I just had my 2nd son October 19th, healthy boy. His doc is wanting anyone (family) to get there flu shot. My family has gotten theres but my mom in law refuses to get one because she does not want to get sick. We have told her that the chances of you getting sick are slim. I am not wanting to take him over there and expose him if she is not going to get one. I dont want to have to make a trip to the NICU with him. He is forcanate to be able to stay home till he gets his first shots and that was recomended by his doc too. We did that with my first and figured I would do the same with him. My question is, is it worng of me to want to keep my baby healthy and not expose him to someone who is not going to the flu shot?

Is it safe for an 11 month old baby to have a booster flu shot if she has a cold?
My 11 month old baby girl had her first flu shot last month at which time they said in a month she would need another since it was her first shot ever and she’s less than 9 years old. She did not have any severe reaction to the shot she got last month ( maybe a little fatigue) but for the past couple days she’s been sick, nothing major just a cough and sniffles. Is it safe for her to have the booster shot though?
