DOES TEETHING REALLY SHAKE STUFF UP THIS MUCH?
Dec 16th
Question by Brayden’s Mommy:
Does teething really shake stuff up this much?
My poor little guy ( 9 months) had no trouble with the first 2 teeth so all these issues are really worrying me. Im assuming its the teeth b/c sevearl areas of the gums are swollen.
1. He has started waking again during the night much like a newborn.
2. Sleeps longer then normal durning the day if he can even settle down.
3. Is very grumpy and doesnt seem to really enjoy himself like he used to.
4. Doesnt want to each much where before he could never get enough.
5.Seems to be sweating constantly but not always with a fever. I think this one concerns me the most
I guess Im sure a bit confused b/c the first 2 came in with out even a whimper.
We are using tylenol, oragel, rings but nothing takes away the pain. I feel so terrible for him.
Are these symptoms normal for teething? And does each set of teeth have different issues with them.

Question by shaunec:
Is it okay to mix acetaminophen with ibuprophen in a 13 month old baby with a fever. Can teething cause fever.
My babies fever is 103.7 and we are worried. The fever seems to get superior with tylenol but comes back fairly quick. I was thinking that ibuprophen might last longer.

when teething is it normal for babies to run a fever?
I was always told that its normal for babies to get a fever here and there while they are teething and my baby is teething and occasionally will run a little fever but after researching it says that you should call a physician if they run a fever while teething… now I feel like a terrible mother because I thought this was absolutely normal

TEETHING QUESTION?
Nov 10th
Question by i_heart_my_soldier_xoxo:
teething question?
Just asked this in the newborn section and didnt get much of a response so I will ask here too
Are the eye teeth hardest/most painful to cut. My 16 month old is working on her top 2 eye teeth (tooth number 13 and 14 for her) She has never given me a problem teething and never seemed to be in any pain. Now suddenly she is very fussy and doesnt want to eat, low grade fever, chewing on her blankie. Just wondering if these teeth are worse or if maybe there is something else wrong with her. Thanks
ok im not asking what to do for her. i already know to give her tylenol and teething tablets and other little tricks. MY QUESTION IS….are the eye teeth more painful than the other ones???
