Choosing Formula Milk

Rice Starch in newborn formula or breast milk?
Is it okay to mix rice starch with infant formula? She is only 3 wks old but cannot keep down most formulas and just spits them up a lot even from her nose. I started on breast milk but she is now on Enfamil AR Lipil with added rice starch to thicken in the stomach so it can then be digested. The pediatrician knows I have her on it but never expresses much view for anything. I reallllllly would much rather breast feed her but would it be okay to mix rice starch in the breast milk? Where could I find it? And would it be okay to just use “rice cereal” instead to mix? Or is she just too young? Only legitimate answers please. I live in a small town and do not know where to find a lactation consultant if one even exists here and probably could not pay the fees anyways.
