Question by Renata E:
Do I have to fire the babysitter?

The babysitter I hired 6 months ago to take care of my 5 years old boy let him exam her genitalia. She is 25 and learning to be a nurse and I liked her very much, she seems to care a lot for my baby. He is also very attached of her and she told me that she only did that for 2 reasons: because my son asked her (curiosity) and also because he would not let her wash him “down there” when she bathed him, so she did something like “show me yours, I’ll show you mine”. I didn’t’t like it when she told me and she was quite surprised. She said that he is little and will not remember over the years and anyhow is nothing wrong to do that.
Is it wrong what she did? Any opinions, pls?

It’s wrong what she did but probably did it with no bad intention, so why not give her a second chance.

Why would she tell you anyway if it what with a bad intention and risk of getting into trouble???

run her over!
