HUSBAND IS LAZY AND ONLY BATHES MAYBE ONCE A WEEK…?
Question by bella_51708:
Husband is lazy and only bathes maybe once a week…?
When we first met, my husband showered before every date. He always smelled nice and was clean shaven. I loved it. Now, he has started to get lazy and only bathes maybe once a week and can sometimes go 2 weeks or more without shaving. It is really starting to gross me out and it has definitely affected our sex life. What makes him think I would want to be intimate with someone who smells of old sweat and body odor? Of course, whenever he brings up our sex life, he accuses me of becoming a nun and never wanting it anymore. It really makes me mad. I have held my tongue for the past few months because I do not want to hurt his feelings, but it seems he doesn’t care about mine when he makes these comments. Has anyone else had these issues and if so, what happened when you explained your feelings? Did they get mad and resentful or just refuse to change? I am 6 months pregnant now and I just do not want him passing germs on all onto our newborn. Plus, I would like intimacy more than once a week. He doesn’t comprehend that if he bathed more, he would get it more.
I try to “reward” him when he does bathe with special sexual treats and such, but it seems he can’t put two and two together.

Um…gross. If things were turned around, he would probably be cheating on you already. You need to get real with him.
